You will notice that in a couple of the examples that you gave, the individuals took the time to translate your text. If your motive is to share information, having people translate content is a major help in that effort.

While good etiquette says that they should at least link back to you, I think you are going too far in describing your content as stolen. If they pass the information on as their own, bad karma to them, but otherwise they are helping you with your goal to share the information with the community. If you want, there is nothing wrong with emailing the authors and asking for a link back to your site.

I’m on your side, man. You took the effort to find the links and put them into a nice, easy-to-find collection. I can understand other people using those links in their own collections, but as you said, they just ripped it with full formatting and all. They should have just linked to your page, or at least given you credit.

Please! Damn, it is just a list of links! I followed the link thinking that someone had ripped your actionscript or something but all I find is you being upset about a bunch of links that have been copy/pasted.

if you REALLY don’t want people to easily get at your links (rolls eyes) why not put them in a SWF. That would atleast make the copy/paste process take longer.

I really think that you are bitching about a bunch of nothing. You do not OWN links to other contect. I would also not call these other site developers “thieves” either. That is a HUGE stretch.

A few years ago, I the company ‘Flash developer’ ask me if I could help him figure out why some of his code wasn’t working properly. I sat down and looked it over and couldn’t get over how familiar the code seemed to me. About ten seconds later, I realized it was so familiar because I had written it the year before. He didn’t even bother to change variable names.

It’s frustrating when someone takes your work regardless of whether or not its a list of links or code and presents it as their own. If you had seen it with credit given to you, you prolly would have been flattered and not cared.

Some folks are just lazy.

sure, everyone has right to provide links, but pasting 100 links in same formatting, not changing word, instead of pasting link to that post, i think, it’s not ordinary habit

at least Google ranking system thinks in this way
When I search for this collection, all sites which copied this post on their blogs are in front of me, I’m the last one

Is this correct?

sure, you right, it was not my examples,
it’s content of my blog, link which i collected from many sites, digging, storing, writing then to the post..
1 update of post when I add just 1 link last 30 mins, because there are many sites linking to that post…

I dont tell examples is mine… my Collected examples are not same as Collected my examples
