Ribbit API Beta 2 Component for Flex released

Wednesday, January 16th, 2008

Tonight we are releasing the Beta2 version of our Ribbit API Component for Flex. This represents some incredible performance and feature enhancements. Since there are so many key changes, we are requiring a mandatory switch over of all developers and projects to Beta2. We apologize for this inconvenience and trust that our documentation, comprehensive release notes, forums and our developer platform team will make it much easier.

You can download it here.

Ok, I have downloaded it and try sample application which is included in archive with SWC and voila, it works :) Very nice.
I have just problem to call phone number from other country than United States. Because sample application accept phone number in style 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx not 1xxxxxxxxx (found after few attempts) but I wanted to make call to Slovakian phone number (my phone) and I had no success. Does anyone know how it is with non US numbers? Is it allowed to call anywhere in the world, and how it is paid or who will pay it?

I didn’t find such information on ribbit.com. So please write me if you have any experiences with it. Ribbit platform looks very promising.
