Flex 3 is done, apart from bug fixing, and you can check out the latest Beta on Adobe Labs. I thought Ely did an amazing job in the talk and it's really exciting stuff. This is part of a big push we're doing to make Flex more expressive and is related to Thermo. What Ely showed was concepts being considered for Flex 4, not Flex 3. Flex 3 is done, apart from bug fixing, and you can check out the latest Beta on Adobe Labs.

I don't think it will be in Flex 3, as far as I know it should have closed API, and nothing should change except fixing bugs...but it's just my knowledge.
