IHWC 2005. is ended.

Yes, i saw Slovakia ice hockey team Last Game on IHWC 2005 with Canada. We lose game 4:5 and do not continue on tournament. BUT! It was our greatest game on IHWC this year, we were winning 3 times by 1 goal, and we were playing amazingly, but 1 luckily goal for Canada ice hockey team and we must go home. I have to say, did not win BETTER team, but MORE LUCKY team But we want to say BIG THANK YOU to our team for brilliant game.

Last game in Qualifying round Slovakia ice hockey team won its game with Kazakhstan 3:1. After other today games:

is sure, that we will play game in Final Round with Canada on Thursday at 16:15 in Innsbruck.

So, we have 2 of 3 games from Qualifying round played, and almost sure, that we will continue to Quaterfinal round from 3rd place.
1st game with Czech Republic we have lost 5:1 and second one we have won with Switzerland 3:1. Tommorow we will play with Kazakhstan, but I think, it will have no influence on our position in Qualifying round. It seems, that we will play Quaterfinal round with Canada.

After yesterday game Czech Republic:Kazakhstan 1:0, Slovakia ice hockey team will play its first game in Qualifying round in group E with winner of Preliminary Group D, Czech Republic on Saturday, 7th May 2005 at 20:15 (CET).

“Russia won 2-0, so we needed to win by four goals, and we tried to play the best hockey we could, said Palffy. Our goalie also played well, and we are very happy to be in first place”. And they play the best hockey as I could see

Slovakia-Austria 8:1.

It was lovely to see whole game, when your players scores with easy, and you know that your team will win preliminary group.

Yesterday my national ice hockey team Slovakia won its first victory on World Championship tournament 2005 in Austria (Vienna, Innsbruck).
We won 2:1 against Belarus, and I know it seems, that it was very hard match (it was) but etc. Shoots on goalkeeper stats: 52:19 Belarus goalkeeper Mezin has his day and because of his great performance the result was just 2:1

Maybe many of you do not know Slovakia team, but i think you can hear about Miroslav Satan, Pavol Demitra, Marian Gaborik, Zigmund Palffy, and Marian Hossa , and this is not all of us “stars” in out national team. Here is player statistics of our team and schedule for next matches.
